Brief description:
The first Croatian conference on media technologies in tourism – Zadar DigIT will be held from 14th to 15th November 2013 in Zadar, Croatia.
The conference is geared towards all tourism professionals, from owners of tourist agencies, hoteliers, caterers, tourist board members to all specialists dealing with any kind of online communication or online business. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and learn from the best and be in touch with the latest digital trends in the industry.
The Conference will address the following:
– The role of Internet technology in everyday life of consumers
– The importance and influence of digital media in tourism marketing
– How to convert Internet users into potential guests
– How successful cooperation, tourism and IT professionals leverage the power of the internet
– In which direction to develop technologies, approach and thinking in tourism

The first edition of the conference brings over 20 speakers, and in two days, visitors will be able to hear 12 lectures, participate in 4 workshops and 2 panel discussions.
Additionally, through the program “Young talents” will present some of the most modern and latest products that directly connect IT, Digital Marketing and Tourism: Qualia, Wealapp, MyCAD, IT4YOU, Da Shef and others.
