The park is covering the area of 230 ha, and after the Olympic Games in London were finished, another 300 million pounds was invested in order to adapt the buildings into thematic park.

Apart from large sport halls, the park includes vast green areas, and even 65 km is covered with water.

According to designer of the park, James Corner, the park will be the place for organization of various performances and the most diverse manifestations, festivals, guest performances of theatre and circus troupes, etc.

Otherwise, various parts of the park, which have all been alternately opened, have been visited by million people, since July 2013.

The management expects that the park during the first year of work will be visited by three million people.
