At the end of June 2016, Los Angeles saw a glass slide open at the top of its tallest building.

The slide is named Skyslide, and it was built between the 69^th and 70^th floors of the US Bank Tower building, the tallest building in Los Angeles and the seventh tallest skyscraper in the United States. The slide’s length is about 10m, and it connects two levels of the building; the construction itself involved use of strong but transparent material. Participants who muster the courage to descend down the slide will feel like they are flying.

The construction of the slide located at 280m above ground began in March and marked the beginning of the renovation of the whole building.
