Osaifu-Keitai literally translates as “phone wallet.” Osaifu means “wallet,” and keitai stands for “mobile phone.”

This singular service is specific to Japan above all, although it is used also in India and China, and its main idea is for all documents and payment cards that are carried in the wallet to be kept in the mobile phone. All the phone needs is the so-called IC chip and the app, which can be downloaded online for free.
