In the Romanian town of Pecice, new traffic signs were set up showing a man crawling with a bottle in his hand with an inscription below “Caution, Drunks”.
The signs are set up in parts of town where bars, clubs, and restaurants are located, and the mayor of Pecice, Peter Antal, stated that the initiative to set up these signs was launched due to a series of car accidents caused by alcohol intoxication.
Although accused that by doing so he labelled his fellow citizens as drunks, Antal trusts that the new signs will give positive results and decrease the number of accidents.
