Starting from July 1st, after 134 years, Main train station in Belgrade will be closed.
For all the trains that operate on the territory of Serbia and abroad, new start and end stations will be Belgrade Center in Prokop and Topcider. Otherwise, Main train station in Belgrade was built in 1884, same year when first rail in Serbia was constructed, and it connected capital with Nis. From this station first train went to Vienna, via Zemun, and passengers were king Milan, queen Natalia and Aleksandar Obrenovic, crowne prince.
