Star Wars served as an inspiration for the authorities in Ireland to erect a Jedi temple on the island of Skellig Michael.

The temple will be erected on the ruins of a Christian monastery, and the eight sequel of the Star Wars saga is going to be filmed at the temple.
The government of the Republic of Ireland hopes that the construction of the temple will increase the number of visiting tourists.
