According to research carried out by professors and researchers of the Irvin University, California, it has been proven that the happiest employees are those whose job tasks do not require too much thinking.
The leader of the research team, Gloria Mark explains this with a fact that the jobs requiring less mental involvement offer the feeling of satisfaction and pleasure without too much stress and frustrations.
According to the portal Clicks, the research was carried out among the employees of Microsoft, and who were fulfilling the tasks of intake and servicing of various types of information all day long.
Also, the research proven that the employees, at the moment of execution of tasks requiring great attention and concentration did not feel as happy as they did when they were asked only to read the messages and respond to e-mails.
The conclusion of this research is that the concentration leads to one type of stress, and that the people are generally happier when they are not under stress. On the other hand, jobs that are not strenuous offer the feeling of pleasure owing to fulfilment of the working obligation.
