On 14^th July, Belgrade witnessed to setting a corner-stone for the Friendship Bridge over the Danube. It is the first infrastructural project within the agreement between the Serbian and Chinese governments, signed in August last year in Beijing. The construction works will be launched in Mid-April 2011, and the deadline for construction is three years. The Bridge of Friendship between Serbia and China will be a historic step forward for Belgrade and Serbia, which will create new economic possibilities by bridging the biggest river in Europe.
