After the Croatian Convention and Incentive Bureau was abolished in 2013 because of the new organizational chart of the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), it became part of the new Product Development Office, which also focuses on selective forms of tourism.

However, the re-opening of this office operating within HTZ was announced late last year. This year is set to see preparations intended to enable this idea to come to fruition. These also include the launching of a new terminal at Zagreb’s airport, as well as better flights from and to the country’s central convention hotspots—Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Opatija, Poreč, and Rovinj.
