In June 2015 the Bohinj ECO Hotel has presented another innovative, sustainable addition to its offer: Bohinjska tujska soba is a show-room and a prototype of the original, traditional tourist’s room. Bohinjska tujska soba is an opportunity for visitors to experience authentic accommodation.

Bohinj ECO Hotel aims to exhibit a local impression, a natural, fresh ambient, carefully interwined with traditional elements of Bohinj heritage.

The furniture has entirely been made with old-fashioned carpenter approach, produced with local wood, tracable all the way back to the trees, which needed to be planted and cut down in order for this unique old story to be reborn in a modern, energy efficient atmosphere.

Bohinj ECO Hotel’s innovative approach can furthermore be found in its successful connection with various local departments, since it involves co-working with local carpenters, designers, craftsmen and tourism representatives.
