2^nd Cratian Congress on Psycho-Oncology with international participation will be held in period from  9^th to 11^th May 2013 in Hotel Osijek in Osijek, Croatia.

The main topics of this year congress will be oncology and psycho-oncology exercised in primary healthcare settings, pediatric psycho-oncology, ethical and legal issues to be addressed within the psycho-oncology field (euthanasia, assisted suicide), disease, death, dying – spiritual aspects, psycho-oncology and palliative care, oncology patients associations and psychotherapy exercised within the field of psycho-oncology.

Psycho-oncology as a separate, distinctive discipline makes sense only if it represents an integral component of a concurrent palliative treatment and supplements complex tasks fulfilled by family medicine practitioners, oncologists and other doctors performing in interventional and diagnostic medical fields.
