Hoteli Dubrovacka rivijera d.d. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in November 2014 signed an contract in which Orlando hotel became part of one of the world’s most prestigious hotel brands.

Hotel will be opened before the summer season 2015, and will operate under the name Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel.

The contract was signed by Robert Koren, Vice President of Starwood’s EMEA and Kristian Sustar, CEO of Hoteli Dubrovacka rivijera d.d.

Andjelko Leko, president of the HUP Zagreb stressed that “precisely Starwood recognizable brands, with continuous development and professional staff of HUP Zagreb among other things contributed to the fact that hotels of HUP Zagreb today are the center of economic, political and sports events in Zagreb and Croatian. These positive effects will be transferred to the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera and other hotels in Mlini and Srebreno. “

Works in Mlini and Srebreno are in full swing. It is the largest investment in the national tourism industry by whose completion Hoteli Dubrovacka rivijera will dispose of more than 750 accommodation units and facilities.

The backbone of the investment is Orlando hotel (with the hotels Astarea, new hotel Mlini, villas and apartments and a range of supporting facilities) which will be the home of  the largest hotel and convention center in Croatia (main hall for 1,000 participants).
