54th Annual Conference of Air Traffic Controllers – IFATCA, was held from 20th to 24th of April 2015 in the capital of Bulgaria Sofia, at Kempinski Hotel Zografski.

The motto of the 54th Annual Conference was “Air traffic controllers – the heart of the ATM system”. The organization of this year conference was given to Bulgarian Air Traffic Controllers Association (BULATCA) in Sofia.

IFATCA Conferences represents the most appropriate platform for direct communication between Member Associations, and for the exchange of ideas and experience within the Federation on an interregional basis.

The basic purpose of conference is to review the activities of the Federation and one of the aims of the Federation is to ensure that the profession of the air traffic controller is well publicized throughout the world.
